Las Vegas Home reno: Drummond Rd Before and After
This one took a little longer than our previous fix and flips because we were living in it! The biggest transformation was definitely the yard. A desert oasis with a small pond (checkout the video on this channel on how to build it). When we sold it, the owners adopted our chickens!

How To Build a Pond With Bog Filter
Переглядів 17 тис.3 роки тому
Be sure to watch until the end to see how this pond matured over 5 years!! Bog Filtration is how ponds keep clean in the natural world! Bring this "technology" to your backyard pond. The concept is the vessel, in this case, the central tall planter pot (very durable rubber), is filled with pea gravel and when the water sucked in from the pump in the pond circulates through it and the plants' ro...
How To Install Low Voltage Landscape Lighting
Переглядів 1,4 тис.3 роки тому
In just a few hours, and for relatively little money, you can boost your home's curb appeal with low voltage landscape LED lighting. The main thing to keep in mind is the max amount of wattage that your chosen transformer can handle. It's wise to get one that can handle more than you need. Each light will indicate on its package how much it draws. Happy lighting! #lowvoltagelandscapelighting ww...

We even had a place for a chicken coop, veggie garden and composed tumbler). We acquired it "subject-to" with a $25,000 deposit to th...

I have a little pond with five goldfish (comets). Filtration is by a diy prefilter with soonge material to filter out the solids and a big filter with s few plants. I was planning to get the prefilter out ’cause it is hard to open and close again for cleaning out. My question is, what about the solids from fishpooh etc in your pond? Hoe do you clean those out?

Finally! A simple diagram drawn with an actual pencil explaining the entire (rather simple)process. I'm in no way a simple person but I cannot believe how confusing some videos are...too many unnecessary explainations...without divulging the very basic actions and materials needed. Thank you so much!

Sorry for the late reply! On the "Whittlesey" website ( www.989rock.com/ ) it says this DG is "Naturally decomposed granite from the Texas Hill Country. This material is screened to meet 1/2" minus specifications and packs great for joints between patio stones. Makes excellent driveways and walkways. Also great for added drainage and minerals to gardens and flower beds. Available by the bag & by the yard. Please check our price list for current pricing, call us for availability at 512-989-7625, or request a quote using the link below. SKU 211556, BAG SKU 211125. Other DG can be grey if source from another area. I believe it's kind of a local thing. BUT I could be wrong! Maybe one could tint DG! I don't really know!

Thanks for uploading, I love the idea, but I made something similar with 90 degree elbows at the base of a large trash can, and raised it off the ground out of reach of the doves but within reaching height for the chickens, but soon the doves figured how to just crawl inside! Can you tell me how your feeder is working out?? any fresh designs or improvements or is it working?? :)

This is a great, simple feeder. Here in New Zealand, that junction alone is over $23.00. I'm truly gutted by the negative comments and sarcasm. It seems easier to toss chicken manure than nut out a larger canopy as you did for some people. I think if poop gets thrown, the tossers should really hold it back until they've got a video together for public viewing that's bang on perfect. Great job, loved the video, but found it completely unnecessary to remark about the music. Well done all round. I'm looking forward to seeing more of you and the feathered family :) Thank you for sharing. You've actually shown me the simpler way to make the feeder I was about to with stormwater pipes.
